SOPHISTICATED SUMMER CELEBRATION AT PROSPECT PARK BOATHOUSE - N+K
Kate + Nick were both studying for their respective post graduate degrees when they reached out to us for assistance to help bring their wedding vision to life. They were looking for a sophisticated celebration but one that felt modern and not like they were taking themselves too seriously. We helped narrow down a personal, intimate celebration that was a reflection of them as a couple and the elements that were important to them. We teamed them up with the super vendor husband and wife duo of Chances with Wolves + Les Loups to set their NY Celebration off in the right direction. Kate wore a stunning Theia gown which was on the first ones she tried on and looked like it was tailored to her despite being off the rack. Kate was walked down the aisle by her moms to Prince’s I would die 4 U, a close friend officiated and they exchanged heartfelt and eloquent vows befitting Nick’s literature degree. The recessional song to Give Him A Great Big Kiss by the Shangri-Las was a personal favorite. Molly Oliver Florals opted for muted tones that worked well with the seafoam napkins for a pop of color that works well with the ceiling tile in the prospect park boathouse space. Following dinner guests snacked on mini desserts and cookies brought by guests - a Pittsburgh cookie table tradition and a nod of the time they had spent living in the city. Helping to bring your personalities and stories out through thoughtful planning is truly as important to us as the focus we have on ensuring a seamless day for you, your family and guests.
