Brides' Unity Deadlift Goes Viral at Outdoor Boathouse Wedding - L+W
Lisa + Wek are two gorgeous souls who met online and really connected with their mutual love of fitness. They are both weightlifters and wanted to incorporate a personalized unity element into their wedding ceremony and settled on a deadlift which was something difficult they could overcome together but still achievable in their wedding dresses. In addition to this moment that the internet fell in love with the couple had some beautiful other touches that were reflective of their lives and relationship. Their corgi pup Liz was included in the processional and the couple chose to begin the processional with their families and meet at the top of the stairs and then process the remainder of the aisle together as they entered into this next step of their relationship together. The table assignment was a map of the places the couple have kissed in the city which would be repurposed post-event into art in their home. The reception design consisted of one long table with a fun color blocked design in Mint and Seafoam that recalled the tiles in the boathouse and was a fun non-traditional yet beautiful table.
