AUSSIES IN NYC - summer elopement in central park + eleven madison park reception - H + S
Heidi reached out to us from Australia to plan all elements of this NYC Luxury elopement after booking fellow Aussie photographer Shawn Connell. The directive was “Best of what NY has to offer” and boy was it a pleasure to plan this one! Heidi and Simon are one of those couples who just radiate energy when with one another. The day was filled with so much laughter that their relaxed energy really shines through in all the photos. The couple decided not to see each other until the ceremony. Heidi got ready at the Peninsula Hotel with the help of Stacy Ford and Styles on B and wore a stunning Galia Lahav gown. Her bouquet was also made by fellow Aussie FLWR Studio. The intimate ceremony took place at the Conservatory Gardens Wisteria Pergola North Terrace where Heidi surprised Simon with an Elvis impersonator to serenade Simon and the guests while she walked down the aisle - a nod to their personal joke throughout their relationship about one day eloping in Vegas. Following the ceremony guests were treated to cocktails at the Bar65 at the iconic Rainbow Room while Heidi & Simon took photos at key NYC landmarks, Top of the Rock, Radio City and Flatiron before heading off to dinner at Eleven Madison Park for a whirlwind NYC day.
